Group Discussion

We at MMBGIMS believe that topical group discussion plays a vital role in understanding a topic or issue in society. Discussing a topic with classmates helps in learning the topic with precision because a student gathers many other facets of it.
On 19th July 2022, we conducted the activity of group discussions for the MMS Sem II Class. The following topics were chosen for the activity:
1. Abrogation of Article 370 has a favorable outcome not?
2. Should the Hindi language be given India’s National Language Status?
3. Legalization of LGBT – Blessing or Curse?
4. Marriage as an institution has a future?
5. Should OTT Platform Web Serious be brought under the regulation of censorship?
The students participated wholeheartedly in the topics as the issues are very contemporary in nature. We saw students shedding away their shyness and bringing out their viewpoint amidst everyone in the class. Many students had points of view providing which can provide solutions to problems. We saw team spirit among the students.
We, faculties, could test the communication skills, topic knowledge, thought process, and leadership skills of each student in the class.
The event ended successfully.
