Teacher’s Day Celebration 2024
About the Event
On September 5th, the Cultural Committee of Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management hosted a memorable Teacher’s Day celebration, honoring the dedication and influence of educators. The event was designed to celebrate and recognize teachers’ vital role in shaping their students’ academic and personal growth. It featured a blend of creative tributes, interactive games, and thoughtful expressions of gratitude
The day began with a heartfelt homage to teachers through a series of student performances. Students presented poems and stories that highlighted the significance of the guru or teacher in their lives. These performances were creative and served to underscore the deep respect and appreciation students have for their teachers.
Following the literary tributes, the event transitioned into a series of engaging games. The first game, “Guess the Word,” featured teachers working in teams to identify words based on clues. The second game, “Flip the Bottle,” required one teacher from each team to spin the bottle while another team member built a pyramid.
The celebration concluded with a gesture of appreciation from the students. Teachers were presented with pens, symbolizing the written knowledge they impart. A cake-cutting ceremony followed, and roses were given to teachers as a traditional token of respect and gratitude.
.Feedback
The feedback from both teachers and students was overwhelmingly positive. Teachers expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful tributes and enjoyed the interactive nature of the games.
