“Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies celebrated the 59th Teachers Day on 4th September 2021. The event was conducted in a hybrid manner, with activities being conducted in both offline and online mode, wherein the students of semester 2 surprised all faculties by arranging online games.
Ms. Jessica Menezes welcomed all faculties and students and offered tribute to Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 2nd President of India, who insisted that his birthday celebrations should be dedicated to teachers.
The students of semester 2 opened the activities with a shloka in respect of their teachers, which was followed by dedications to each faculty and staff member. This was followed by fun-filled games that kept both faculties and students engaged and entertained. Faculties were also shown various artworks, poems, videos, etc. that students had prepared as a dedication to all faculties.
A Secret Santa game was organized amongst faculties and the gifts were handed over to each faculty and the people who gifted the items were revealed.
The event ended with a vote of thanks from faculties to all the students.”
