Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies conducted a webinar on 25th September 2020 on Stress Management and Improved IQ, EQ & SQ through Sahaja Yoga Meditation. The webinar was organized as a part of an on-going program for promoting yoga and fitness especially in students who are coping with the current pandemic and its resultant issues in their daily lives.
The session was conducted by Mr Priyank Garg, an erstwhile corporate professional who has now entered the consulting arena and helps other professionals with managing stress and improving productivity through yoga and meditation. The first part of the session was focussed on understanding the concept of stress and how meditation acts as an effective tool in eliminating stress and ensuring equilibrium in our body. Mr. Garg explained in detail the various levels of yoga and enlightened students on the actual impact of meditation on the various organs of our body as well as on our emotions.
The second half had a live meditation session for all participants, which provided them with a demonstration of the power of meditation and its role in creating emotional and physical balance.
The session was attended by more than 60 participants comprising students, academicians and other industry professionals.
