Induction Programme 2025
The Induction Programme for the BMS Batch 2025-2028 at MMBGIMS, organised by the Cultural Committee on 6th October 2025, was held to introduce the new batch to the institution’s academic and cultural environment. The event was attended by all the BMS students and Dr. Jessica Fernandes, the BMS Coordinator and other staff members
- Objectives
- To explain the new syllabus to the students.
- To help the students get familiar with the institute’s values, academic structure, code of conduct, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- To encourage self-awareness, which can improve teamwork, leadership, and personal development.
- To provide an overview of extracurricular activities, events, and placement opportunities at MMBGIMS.
The programme began with a welcoming speech by the Director, Dr. Vidya Hattangadi, who emphasised the importance of discipline, dedication, and curiosity in the students’ academic journey. The director introduced all the faculty members to the students. The students then received an orientation on the institute, including information about educational activities, events, the code of conduct, placement opportunities, and the various cultural and extracurricular activities that play a key role at MMBGIMS.
A special session on “Self-Introspection” was conducted by the Director, Prof. (Dr.). Vidya Hattangadi. In this session, students learned about self-awareness and reflected on their strengths and areas for improvement. Each student shared something about themselves and identified areas where they could grow.
The senior students organised an ice-breaking session to make them feel comfortable and mix with other students.

The Induction Programme was a great success and helped set a positive tone for the students as they began their academic journey at MMBGIMS.

The feedback from students who attended the Induction Programme was extremely positive. The students appreciated the programme and found it helpful as they got to know more about their course and the opportunities available at the institute.
