Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies organized a 2-day workshop for its students on 8th and 9th April 2021. The session was conducted by Mr Kapil Bhopatkar. Mr Bhopatkar is an award-winning faculty of Management and an expert in Derivatives and Financial Markets. He is currently pursuing his research in Behavioral Finance.
The workshop gave students an insight into the concept of behavioural finance and its practical impact on financial markets. Mr Bhopatkar provided students with specific analytical techniques to identify changing behavioural trends in the markets and how they can study practical applications of behavioural finance. The students enjoyed these sessions and showed enthusiastic participation in the Q&A sessions. The overall feedback also depicted that the students wanted to know more about behavioural finance in the upcoming semesters.
