Experience:
It was a good learning experience for students as many technical and management institutes had participated and the competition was fierce. The judges were the pioneers in the research industry and suggestions from them were priceless. Judges guided all the participants with their limitations and also appreciated good papers. Our students won 2nd prize and felt highly motivated for conducting research in future. Overall the experience was special and very informative with huge amount of knowledge been shared and gained. In the research, the students under the guidance of Dr. Chitra Gounder, Director, MMBGIMS proposed such a business model that minimized the inventory cost carried in traditional model. The model eliminated all the mediators and supplied fish directly from ship to consumer door step.
