MM BGIMS MMS students take a tour across and recommend
– Suvarna Bamne & Subrato Das
As students of the MMS Batch 2023-2025 at MM BGIMS, we often reflect on how prepared we are to navigate the world and succeed in a way that leverages technology to enhance our capabilities and productivity. When it comes to Artificial Intelligence (AI), we find ourselves at a crossroads—trying to choose the best tools from the wide array available to us.
In today’s competitive and complex environment, AI plays a significant role, not only in corporate settings but also in personal productivity. It empowers individuals to generate innovative ideas and increase efficiency, giving those who embrace it a distinct advantage. AI spans across various sectors, revolutionizing the way we work and live. However, it’s essential to remember that while AI can provide valuable insights and suggestions, users should always cross-check facts and figures from a human perspective, ensuring they don’t rely solely on AI-generated outputs.
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help computer systems or machines simulate human intelligence on any given situation customizable in the form of a prompt. It basically feeds on previous data or patterns as inputs from the user as a part of machine learning.
Figure 1: Illustration of comparison
We delve into three of the most popular AI platforms of 2024, exploring their user interfaces and putting various prompts to the test. Focusing on their free versions, we provide recommendations tailored to different specialisations, highlighting the optimal solutions to save time and resources.
Just as humans greet one another, AI platforms attempt to do the same. Here’s a look at how each platform responds to a given text prompt, allowing us to interpret the tone, style, and language they use in their interactions.

Our Take –
ChatGPT offers a sleek, conversational interface designed for ease of use. With its chat-like format, it prioritizes text-based communication, creating a friendly and approachable experience. The design is modern and minimalistic, allowing for seamless interactions.
In contrast, Copilot is embedded within coding environments, focusing on functionality and developer efficiency. Its interface is more utilitarian, providing tools that deliver real-time code snippets and suggestions, tailored to fit directly into a developer’s workflow.
Gemini, meanwhile, stands out with a visually rich interface that blends information with interactive elements. It often incorporates graphical displays, making it ideal for tasks that benefit from a more visual, engaging approach, appealing to users beyond text-based interactions.
In summary, ChatGPT excels at conversational flow, Copilot focuses on coding productivity, and Gemini emphasizes visual interactivity.
