International Research Conference in hybrid format was organized on Saturday, 25th March 2023 on the topic “ Ethical and Environmental of Responsibility of Businesses”.
We chose this topic for our Research Conference because ethics and environmental sustainability are need of the hour in today’s world. Businesses must minimise hazardous operations as the environmental sustainability cannot be taken for granted. In fact, environmental ethics are most pivotal today. Society at large specifically inquiries about a company’s ethical character, hence, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was introduced. Similarly financial, marketing, and human resource ethics are equally significant.
We received encouraging response from researchers from nationally and internationally. And, we got thought-provoking perceptions on the topic of environmental sustainability and business ethics.
Prof. N.S.Iyer an expert in Labour Law and IR, Mr.Ashish Chandak – Chief Compliance Officer at Yes Bank, CA Abhijeet Deshmukh – Partner M/s. Sanjay Rane & Associates Chartered Accountants firm and Dr. Randhir Lamba – an expert in Public Relations/Image Management were invited to judge the presented papers. Prof. Iyer and Ashish Chandak judged the offline presentations while CA Abhijeet Deshmukh and Dr. Randhir Lamba judged the online presentations.
The following three were declared winners:
1st Prize went to Mr. Ravikumar Ramchandran for his paper titled “Ethics, Science, Technology and Humanity”
2nd Prize went to Ms. Meghana Patil for her paper titled “Retail Investors Perception towards Environment, Social and Governance investing in Mumbai Region
