Guest Session on Job Opportunities in the Government Sector: Your Pathway to Public Service Excellence
The Placement Committee along with Student Development Cell at Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies organised a guest session on “Job Opportunities in the Government Sector: Your Pathway to Public Service Excellence” on 16th March 2024. There were total 65 students from both MMS Semester II and IV who attended the session.
Mr. Deasai shared how a dedicated routine would help crack the exams. He spoke about the Union Public Service Commission, State Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission, District Level Commission, the Railway Recruitment Board, judicial service exams. He explained that apart from the Gazetted Officer’s post there were recruitments that were done through the various boards at non gazetted officer’s post too. He shared that all information is now available online. One can check the same on the website. A little common sense general current awareness and a dedicated study schedule would help crack the exams. Mr. Desai shared that there are coaching institutes imparting training to the students for these various exams.
