Hindi Diwas
The Student Development Cell (SDC) of MMBGIMS organized a special event to celebrate Hindi Diwas on 13th September 2025. The objective of the program was to create awareness among students about the importance of Hindi as a national language, its cultural relevance, and to encourage students to express pride in India’s linguistic heritage.
About the Event
As part of the celebration, a Quiz Competition on Hindi Diwas was organized exclusively for MMS students. The quiz was designed to test students’ knowledge about:
- The history and significance of Hindi Diwas.
- Hindi literature, poets, and writers.
- Usage of Hindi in administration and communication.
- Interesting facts about Hindi as one of the most spoken languages globally.
The quiz generated enthusiasm and healthy competition among students from both batches (2024–26 and 2025–27).
The event created a vibrant atmosphere where students not only tested their knowledge but also strengthened their appreciation for the Hindi language.
Learning and Feedback
Students shared that the quiz enhanced their awareness of Hindi’s cultural significance and its role in unifying the nation. Many participants felt proud of the opportunity to celebrate Hindi Diwas in a fun yet educational way. The interactive format kept the students engaged and promoted collaborative learning.
Conclusion
The Hindi Diwas Celebration at MMBGIMS was a successful initiative by the Student Development Cell, fostering a sense of respect and pride for the national language. The active participation of 82 students highlighted the enthusiasm and interest of the student community. The SDC aims to organize more such cultural and knowledge-based events that promote holistic learning and appreciation of India’s rich heritage.
