Independence Day 2024
The Cultural Committee of MMBGIMS organized an Independence Day Rally on 14th August 2024, beginning at Maratha Mandir Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies to Agripada Police Station and concluded at the Institute. The rally was a spirited celebration of India’s independence, with participants demonstrating their patriotism through a march and Slogans such as “Vande Mataram”, “Jai Zind”. “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. Following the rally, a cultural program was held where students sang patriotic songs like Chhodo kal Ki Baatein, Kal Ki Baat Puraani, Aashayein and Vande Mataram embodying the spirit of the occasion. The event also featured a symbolic gesture of unity and pride, as participants took selfies with the Tiranga (the Indian national flag). Post-event breakfast and sweets were served by the institute to all. 52 Students 9 faculty and 6 non-teaching staff participated in the rally and cultural programme on 14th August 2024
On 15th August 2024 as India celebrates its 78th Independence Day, this year’s theme is ‘Viksit Bharat,’ reflecting the government’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. The Flag was hoisted by Ms. Sonam Gawde Hon. Secretary, at 9:00 am The Staff and students of MM BGIMS each one spoke on how our Institute can contribute to the theme of Viksit Bharat. Post-event breakfast and sweets were served by the institute to the attendees. Total 25 Staff and 3 students attended the flag hoisting ceremony.
