Live Projects
The Research Committee of MMBGIMS organized Viva Voce of Live Projects for the MMS Semester-III students of Batch 2023-2025. The goal was to shed light on the significant work of various NGOs and showcase students contributions to these causes.
Overview of Live Projects: The projects commenced from 13th July 2024 to 28th September 2024, during which students worked in groups, visiting NGOs and startups biweekly, to assist with various initiatives. Several organizations, including Project Mumbai, Khushiyaan Foundation, MS Foundation, Silver Star Foundation offered live research projects for the students.
Dr. Shilpa Shinde, faculty of MMBGIMS conducted Viva Voce to check students based on the 5 parameters – time given for project, students contribution, learning from the visit, team spirit, presentation skills. Total 56 students attended the session.
Key Contributions:
- Project Mumbai: Students contributed to the Agni Rakshak and Naksha projects.
- Khushiyaan Foundation: Students supported beach clean-up drives and helped educate underprivileged communities.
- MS Foundation: Students raised awareness about Multiple Sclerosis.
- Silver Star Foundation: Students worked on conducting survey on family dependence and other facilities of aged people.
Learning Outcomes: Through these projects, students enhanced their awareness-building, research, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and social responsibility skills.
Feedback: Students expressed appreciation for the opportunity to participate in these live projects, acknowledging the value of contributing to society while gaining practical experience
