Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies celebrated its annual fest MAGMA 2023 with great enthusiasm, vibrance, and excitement. The event was inaugurated by Director Prof. Dr. Vidya Hattangadi.Sports were on two days where the students vigorously competed against one another to win the trophies.
The games included under Sports activity were:
- Box cricket for both, boys and girls
- Tug of war for both boys and girls
- Rink Football for both boys and girls
- Lemon & Spoon race for both boys and girls
In each category winners and runners-up were given Certificates of Merit, medals and trophies.All participants were awarded Certificate of Participation
Day 1: Box cricket.
Intra College Competition was organized in the Parking lot of Maratha Mandir, from 9:.30 am to 12:30 pm. The game was conducted into two categories i.e. Boys and Girls. In the boys’ category, 8 teams participated and in the girls’ category, 4 teams participated. Students enjoyed the game and developed team spirit.
Tug of War.
Intra College Competition was organized in the Parking lot of Maratha Mandir from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The game was conducted into two categories i.e., Boys and Girls. In the boys’ category, 7 teams participated and in the girls’ category 5 teams participated.
Day 2: Rink Football for both boys and girls
Intra College Competition was organized in the Parking lot of Maratha Mandir from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The game was conducted into two categories i.e. Boys and Girls. In the boys’ category, 6 teams participated and in the girls’ category 5 teams participated.
Lemon & Spoon race for both boys and girls
Intra College Competition was organized in the Parking lot of Maratha Mandir from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. The game was conducted into two categories i.e. Boys and Girls. In the boys’ category, 12 teams participated and in the girls’ category 8 teams participated.
It was a fun-filled two days as the students bonded across both semesters. The spirit of sportsmanship was evident all along
