“Learning German language it’s like dream come true! Since a childhood I was very fascinated with new places to travel and explore their culture, cuisine and many more. The world is a cauldron of rich and interesting cultures. So, learning a new language allows you to access many different cultures across the globe. You will have the chance to see fascinating new things from a new perspective, which not many natives can, and connect with the new people all over the world. Different culture has its own music, style, history, literature, tradition and many more interesting things which you will be able to enjoy and understand. You will be able to connect through books, TV, the internet and converse with many countries worth of people, ultimately broadening your horizons, interests and views. A whole new world will be open to you.
As learning language is my hobby and passion. Through this I am extremely proud and rewarding. Once the hard work and effort has paid off, you will experience the many benefits associated with learning a new language and you will have a new found confidence. Learning a new language will open up our world in ways a monoglot. A monoglot would never have the chance of experiencing. Your mind will be constantly be engaged and you will gain an insight into many different cultures. Learning a second language also makes it easier to learn new things, which will certainly broaden your horizons. Having knowledge of German Language opened many new doors for me. After finishing my MBA, I got Job in one of the prestigious MNC bank, Deutsch Bank. It’s a German Bank. While working as Banker on week days on weekends I was delivering German language lectures to one of the well know MBA institute in Mumbai. This helps to polish my speaking and teaching skills in education sector. When my younger brother was planning to pursue his Masters in Aeronautical Engineering from Frankfurt, Germany. As per his applied University criteria, he must be completed his 2 levels of German language. Instead of enrolling any Language learning Institute he asked me to teach him. I taught him 2 levels of German Language. Only he appeared exam in German language Institute. In that in both the levels he scored more than 90 %. While giving Student Visa interview they checked your speaking ability than your certificate score. And guess what soon he landed to his dream destination! This big achievement of his added new feather in my cap. Past 5 years, I taught German Language to more than 350 students. I must say they are very successful in their life with this new language certificate in their hand. This language can help in many fields like Automobiles, Finance, Marketing, IT, Engineering, Researchers, PHD Students etc. Many German Universities offered Scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students. More they will fund for your Research based study and also provide funding as well as stipend to PHD students. In my younger Brother case, he went on scholarship, where his university has taken care his 3 year’s all semester academic fees. Today, Germany is first preference in every student’s wish list because of their growing economical growth which gives immense job advantage in global economy. Many German companies spreading their roots to Indian market for R&D facilities and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations. Companies like Siemens, Bayer, Bajaj Allianz, Bosch Group, DHL Express, Daimler Chrysler etc. had already expand their offices in many cities in India.
Not only has that Medical studies shown the positive effects learning a second language has on the brain. Studies showed that learning a second language significantly delayed the onset of many brain related diseases such as Alzheimer and dementia, compared to those who can only speak their native tongue.
I must say learning new language not only open new doors to foreign countries but also in this age of globalization people get plenty of opportunities to use their foreign language skills within their country itself.”
