The Finance Club and IIC of Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies (MMBGIMS) organized a guest session titled “Dhan Ki Baat” on 17th February 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Anita Bobade, Financial Professional and Investor. A total of 61 students and 6 faculty members attended the program, reflecting enthusiastic participation.
During the session, the speaker explained the structure and scope of the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) ecosystem in India. She highlighted emerging career opportunities in banking, insurance, wealth management, capital markets, and fintech sectors. The growing impact of digital transformation, financial technology, and data analytics on BFSI careers was discussed in detail.
Students were guided on essential skills, certifications (including NISM), and professional qualifications required to build successful careers in the financial services industry. The importance of financial literacy, risk awareness, smart investing, and continuous upskilling for future job readiness was also emphasized.
Real-world examples from the investment domain helped students understand industry expectations and practical challenges. An interactive Q&A session enabled participants to clarify their career-related queries and gain deeper insights.
The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks and positive feedback from students and faculty members, making it an informative and impactful learning experience.
