Guest Session on the Journey from Campus to Corporate Life by an Alumnus
Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies alumnus Akshaya Tiwari interacted with the MMS 2018–20 batch and shared her journey from campus to corporate life. She highlighted the institute’s quality education, faculty support, internships, placement opportunities, and student development activities. She also encouraged students to stay focused on their goals, work consistently, and view challenges as stepping stones to success. The session was highly interactive, motivational, and well-appreciated by the students.
Alumni Engagement during Final Project Viva Voce
Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies organized the Final Project Viva Voce for the Batch of 2023–2025 on 5th April 2025 with the participation of distinguished alumni from various industries. Alumni including Sanket Mhatre, Amol Kale, Rahul Sawant, and Bhushan Patil evaluated students’ projects and shared valuable industry insights. The initiative provided students with practical exposure, constructive feedback, and a better understanding of corporate expectations, while also strengthening alumni engagement and industry-academia collaboration.
Alumni Guest Session on Risk Management
A Guest Session on Risk Management was conducted by esteemed alumna Ms. Ishwari Nandgaonkar, Senior Manager at CNK & Associates LLP, on 24th July 2025. She shared practical insights on risk identification, mitigation strategies, and industry practices through real-life examples and interactive discussions. The session was highly informative and helped students understand the practical application of risk management concepts.
Mock Interviews by Alumni
MMBGIMS successfully conducted an engaging Alumni Engagement and Mock Interview Session on 11th October 2025 for Semester I and Semester III students of the 2026 and 2027 passing-out batches. The session brought together accomplished alumni from diverse industries who shared valuable insights on current corporate expectations, career pathways, and professional growth.
The program featured mock interview simulations, interactive feedback sessions, and resume-building guidance, giving students a real-time experience of corporate recruitment processes. Semester III students particularly benefited from hands-on interview practice and personalized feedback, while all participants received practical tips to strengthen their resumes and overall employability.
