Mentoring Programme for MMS Students

The institute strongly believes that mentoring plays a crucial role in the academic, professional, and personal development of students. To provide continuous guidance and support, a structured Mentoring Programme is implemented for MMS students, wherein each faculty member is assigned a group of mentees to ensure individual attention and regular interaction. The mentor serves as a guide, motivator, and facilitator, assisting students in their academic progress, career planning, skill enhancement, and overall personality development, thereby fostering confidence, discipline, and holistic growth

Objectives of the Mentoring Programme

  • To provide academic, professional, and personal guidance to students.
  • To strengthen faculty-student interaction and communication.
  • To monitor students’ academic performance, attendance, and overall progress.
  • To guide students regarding career opportunities, placement preparation, and higher
    education.
  • To encourage participation in co-curricular, extracurricular, and professional development
    activities.
  • To identify students’ concerns and provide timely support and counselling whenever required.

The discussions generally focus on

  • Academic performance and subject-related difficulties
  • Attendance and discipline
  • Career planning and placement readiness
  • Communication skills and personality development
  • Participation in institutional activities and certifications
  • Personal growth and overall well-being
