The Green Club successfully organized an expert session titled “Decoding Professional Practice” on 23 March 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM in Classrooms 206/207 as part of the institution’s Environment and Energy Audit initiatives.
The 45-minute session was delivered by Ar. Nahida Shaikh, Consultant – Sustainable Academe, who shared valuable insights into the importance of professional ethics, sustainability, and environmental responsibility in today’s professional landscape. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 38 students and 4 faculty members.
The session emphasized the growing need for professionals to integrate ethical values, environmental consciousness, and sustainable practices into their decision-making processes. Through practical examples and real-world experiences, the speaker highlighted how responsible professional conduct contributes to long-term organizational success and sustainable development.
Students gained an understanding of professional ethics, resource conservation, environmental regulations, green practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The interactive discussion encouraged participants to explore the role of professionals in addressing environmental challenges while meeting industry expectations.
The session also provided insights into sustainable project execution, accountability, and responsible leadership, enabling students to appreciate the importance of balancing professional excellence with environmental stewardship.
