Introduction
The Degree Distribution Ceremony is a significant event in the academic calendar of Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies (MMBGIMS), aimed at formally conferring degrees upon graduating students and celebrating their academic achievements. The Degree Distribution Ceremony for the MMS Batch of 2023–2025 was conducted at the MMBGIMS Seminar Hall (Rooms 206 & 207).
The objectives of the programme were to:

About the Event
The Degree Distribution Ceremony for the MMS Batch of 2023–2025 was held on Saturday, 25th July 2026 at the Seminar Hall of MMBGIMS. The event was organized by the Cultural Committee and Placement Committee.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of 66 attendees, comprising 63 MMS graduates and 3 Ph.D. scholars, making it a memorable occasion for students, faculty members, and guests.
The programme was graced by Dr. Arloph John Vieira as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Vieira is a distinguished professional specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management, with over 35 years of industry experience and 5 years of teaching experience. He has served as Senior Vice President at Bajaj Healthcare Ltd. and has held leadership positions in reputed pharmaceutical organizations such as Cipla, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Shalina Laboratories, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Kopran Ltd.
In his address, Dr. Vieira shared valuable insights from his extensive professional journey and encouraged the graduating students to embrace continuous learning, adaptability, and ethical leadership in their careers. His inspiring words added immense value to the ceremony and motivated the graduates as they prepared to embark on their professional journeys.
A special highlight of the event was the presentation of prestigious academic awards:
- B. Tambe Award was presented to Ms. Tapasya Pahurkar for securing the highest performance among female students in the MMS Semester IV University Examination at MMBGIMS.
- An award instituted in memory of Late Ms. Sudha Shenoy was presented to Rohit Sawant for securing the highest performance among male students in the MMS Semester IV University Examination at MMBGIMS.
The distribution of degree certificates was carried out with great enthusiasm and pride, symbolizing the successful completion of the students’ academic journey at MMBGIMS.
The ceremony concluded at 1:00 p.m. with a Vote of Thanks, followed by lunch.
