The Student Development Cell (SDC) of Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies organised a guest session on “Careers in AI” on 25th August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The session was organised to create awareness among students about the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence, emerging career opportunities, required skills, and changing industry trends.
The session featured esteemed guest speakers Ms. Savita Govilkar and Mr. Sameer, who provided students with valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI, their growing applications, and the career opportunities emerging in this field. The speakers also discussed various AI-related courses and learning opportunities that students can pursue to develop relevant skills and enhance their employability. 39 MMS students participated in the session and actively engaged with the discussion. The session helped students understand the importance of AI skills, continuous learning, and upskilling in preparing themselves for future career opportunities in an increasingly AI-driven professional environment.
