The IQAC cell organized a National Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic titled “Effective Marketing Strategies Including Digital Amidst Pandemic”.
The FDP was organized in association with Indian Accounting Association – Thane Branch. The FDP was hosted on Stream Yard multiple platform which was broadcast live on YouTube.
Hon. Suresh Prabhu – Ex Cabinet Minister, Government of India was the Chief Guest of the program and the resource person was young and dynamic Karan Shah who is the founder of IIDE – The Indian Institute of Digital Education started 8 years back in the education space. The institute has trained more than 40,000 students and large corporates online and offline.
The FDP was backed by an advisory board which included renowned academicians such as Dr. Ajay Bhamre – Dean of Commerce and Management, University of Mumbai, Dr. K. Shanti – Director, HRDC, University of Mumbai.CA (Dr) Jayant Apte – Principal, Ghanshyamdas Saraf College, Malad, CA Santosh Ghag – Governing Body Member, MM BGIMS, Dr. Arvind Luhar –Chairman IAA, Thane Branch.
Mr Suresh Prabhu’s speech was crisp and he emphasized on digital aspect of inbound and outbound marketing which is need of the hour.
Mr. Karan Shah enthralled the participants with his enlightening speech. He touched upon most facets of digital marketing components such as search engine optimization (SEO) pay-per-click advertising (PPC) web design, marketing funnel etc.
The FDP was attended by more than 2000 participants from all over India and also overseas. The FDP has received very positive feedback from the participants and most of them were looking forward to MM BGIMS organizing many more webinars.
