National Constitution Day was celebrated at MMBGIMS, on Saturday 26thNovember 2022 to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. To reiterate the values enshrined in the Constitution, the students and the faculty joined the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi in the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution at 11:00 am from their respective class sessions. The entire Institute reaffirmed its commitment to the Indian Constitution by taking the pledge on the virtual platform. The students also participated in the quiz competition organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India.
95 students and 7 Faculty took part in the reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution.
The Director, Prof.Dr. Vidya Hattangadi encouraged the students to abide by the Constitution. Quoting Dr. Ambedkar, “We are Indians, firstly and lastly.”ma’am motivated the students to reaffirm their commitment to upholding the ideology laid down in the Indian Constitution.
