On 15th October 2024, MM BGIMS celebrated Vachan Prerna Divas in tribute to the visionary leader and former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. This day, dedicated to promoting the importance of reading, honours Kalam’s lifelong commitment to education and nation-building. The institute joined the nationwide celebrations, paying homage to Kalam’s impactful messages of “Dream, Believe, Achieve,” which continue to inspire students across the globe.
The event emphasized the importance of reading and intellectual growth, aligning with Dr. Kalam’s belief that knowledge is the foundation for innovation and progress. His visits to various regions in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, left a lasting influence, encouraging students and entrepreneurs to dream big and work towards their goals. The celebration at MM BGIMS served as a reminder for students and faculty to adopt reading as a tool for personal and academic development, while striving for excellence in their fields.
