International Webinar on Supply Chain Sustainability and Opportunities
The Student Development Cell of MMBGIMS organized an insightful International Webinar on “Supply Chain Sustainability and Opportunities” on 19th December 2024. The event featured Mr. Albert Manzo, a distinguished industry expert, who shared his expertise on the evolving dynamics of sustainable supply chains and their role in the global shaping of businesses and societies.
The session, attended by 63 enthusiastic students, provided a deep dive into the growing importance of sustainability in modern business operations. Mr. Manzo highlighted actionable strategies for integrating sustainable practices into supply chains, focusing on real-world applications. A special highlight was the discussion on Patagonia’s innovative recycling process, which served as a case study of how global brands can lead in environmental responsibility.
The objectives of the webinar were threefold:
