Introduction
Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies (MMBGIMS) organized a National Conference on 28th March 2026, bringing together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students from various institutions. The conference focused on the theme “Business Collaboration in the VUCA World: Redefining Strategies for Organisational Sustainable Growth,” highlighting the importance of adaptability, collaboration, leadership, and innovation in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous business landscape. About the Event
Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies (MMBGIMS) successfully organized a National Conference on 28th March 2026 on the theme “Business Collaboration in the VUCA World: Redefining Strategies for Organisational Sustainable Growth.” The conference witnessed participation from 8 reputed institutions including Symbiosis Pune, K.C. College, GNIMS, VIVA College, Rohidas Patil College, Swayam Siddhi College, Allana College, and MMBGIMS.
The event was graced by eminent resource persons including Dr. S. S. Prasada Rao (WeSchool), Dr. Irfan Lakhani (Allana Institute of Management Studies), Dr. Randhir Lamba, Dr. Ajit Salvi (Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies), and C.A. Abhijeet Deshmukh (S. S. Rane & Associates). Their expert sessions provided valuable insights into business strategies, leadership, sustainability, and professional practices.
A total of 174 research papers were received for the conference, comprising 124 internal papers, 40 external student papers, 8 PhD scholar papers, and 2 corporate papers. Out of these, 106 papers were presented offline, while 68 were submitted in absentia.
The conference covered diverse thematic areas such as Corporate Adaptation to the VUCA Environment (33 papers), Collaboration as a Strategic Imperative (25 papers), Functional Strategies in Uncertain Times (25 papers), Mental Health and Employee Well-being (21 papers), Leadership, Ethics, and People Management (38 papers), and Technology, Innovation, and the Future of Work (32 papers).
The event provided a rich academic environment with active discussions, knowledge sharing, and meaningful interactions among participants.
