The Finance Club of MMBGIMS organized an Add-on Course on “Fundamentals of Stock Market (NISM)” from 30th March 2026 to 2nd April 2026. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Anita Bobade, Dr. Santosh Datkhile, Dr. Pranav Indulkar, Dr. Girish Pawar, and Ms. Pratiksha Karambe, faculty members of the institute.
A total of 20 students participated in the program. The sessions focused on providing a comprehensive understanding of the stock market and its functioning.
The faculty explained the structure and working of financial markets, including equity, debt, and derivative segments. They highlighted various investment avenues and career opportunities in the financial services sector.
The course covered important concepts such as stock trading, fundamental and basic technical analysis, and risk-return dynamics. The impact of market trends, investor behavior, and economic factors on stock prices was also discussed.
Students were guided on essential skills, certifications (including NISM), and knowledge required to build a career in the stock market domain. Real-life examples and practical insights helped students understand market operations and decision-making processes.
Interactive discussions and doubt-solving sessions enabled students to actively engage and clarify their queries.
