Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies celebrated its annual fest MAGMA 2023 with great enthusiasm, vibrance, and aplomb. The three-day event began with sports and culminated with the cultural programme.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony followed by the Maratha Mandir prayer. The students from semester I Mr. IndraneelBendre and Mr. Aniket Kanojiya created a riotous atmosphere. The events were judged by Kanga trainer specialist, Tedx speaker, and Mrs. India and Mrs.Asia winner Ms. Pooja Jambotkar and a dedicated Kathak and folk dancer Ms. Vaishali Reddy. Ms. Shraddha Rajpure introduced the judges to the audience. The students gave the judges a warm welcome. Students of semesters I and III participated in large numbers.
The cultural performances included:
- Dance: Group: There were 9 teams for the group dance
- Solo: 2 Solo dance performances
- Fashion Show: 4 teams for the fashion show
- Singing: 1 Solo and 2 Duet and1 Chorus
In each category winners and runners-up were given Certificates of Merit, medals, and trophies. All participants were awarded a Certificate of Participation. Mr. Darshan Vyas proposed the vote of thanks. It was followed by a DJ session.
The judges gave positive feedback on the creativity of the students and appreciated the anchors.
