About the Event
The Training and Placement team of MMBGIMS organised a one-day visit on 2nd August 2024, for MMS Semester III students (Batch 2023-2025) to The UrbanPod | Next Generation Smart Hotel in Mumbai Central.
A total of 48 students and 7 faculty members attended the visit This visit aimed to give students practical exposure and an in-depth understanding of the industry. The event was guided by Mr. Rahul Harne Front Office Manager, who shared his expertise and insights with the students.
The students were divided into two batches to ensure an engaging and informative experience. Upon arrival, they were welcomed and briefed on the day’s itinerary. Mr. Rahul Harne provided an overview of UrbanPod’s operations, highlighting key aspects of the company’s business model and its role in the industry. The visit included a tour of the facility, allowing students to observe practical business operations, followed by a presentation on industry trends, operational challenges, and innovative solutions employed by the company.
Throughout the visit, Mr. Harne offered detailed explanations, helping students grasp complex concepts and relate them to their academic curriculum. The session concluded with a Q&A session, where students could ask questions and gain further insights into the industry.
