Staff Team Building, CSR (International Senior Citizen’s Day Celebration) and World Environment Day Celebration activities
The Institute conducted its team building activity as part of its Staff Welfare / CSR measures on 19thAugust 2021 through a visit to Ramanand Farmhouse at Kewale (Panvel).
Purpose of the outing was:
- To promote team-building spirit among the staff
- CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative & celebration of International Senior Citizen’s Day – visit to a nearby Senior Citizens’ Home managed by Vidyadhiraj Charitable Trust, Panvel
- Celebration of World Environment Day through visit to the farm and understanding the various green practices followed in the farm
The team travelled via car pools from varied locations, and proceeded to Panvel where it first visited the Senior Citizen’s Home operated by the Vidyadhiraj Charitable Trust. The Institute and few of staff members donated food articles to the Home. The team interacted with a few members from the Trust over coffee. Due to the pandemic it was decided not to meet the members of the home, for the safety of the senior citizens.
The team proceeded to the farmhouse for a team building exercise and celebration of World Environment Day through clean-up of the surroundings by weeding out the unwanted plants and understanding the various green practices followed in the farm.
Sumptuous lunch was arranged which the team enjoyed, connecting with each other over discussions promoting good camaraderie among the team members.
After a brief leisure and tea, the team left the venue by 3:00 p.m. in their respective car pools and headed home.
